Meet our new member

So Cindy and I could not wait any longer, we had to go adopt another cat. One friday afternoon Cindy and I took a drive up to Nine Lives to pick out a new cat in their new clinic. When we get there, the only cats they have for adoption are young kittens. Their policy is, if you want a kitten, you have to take two.
Well they always say, two cats are better than one, so three must be WAAAY better than two.

Meet Russell!


Our other kitten is FLV+ so we are waiting to see if he clears the virus so we can take him home. If not I know he will get a good home with another family and will definitly not get PTS. As for now he is staying with the doctor at her home and we await his test results. We named him Cotton Ball already, he is a white minxy guy with an all white fuzzy body with gray feet and tails. He also has incredibly blue eyes and one of the most amazing personalities I have seen on a cat. I really hope we can take him home.

Russell however, is only three months old but I think he is going to be a real big kitty. Jody is already trying to get his licks in with him before Russell can beat him up. Check out the size of this buggers paws.



His paws are damn near the size of Jody's already, crazy.

Speaking of Jody, he had a bit of a hard time with Russell at the begining but they are getting along swimingly. Yestarday when I came home from work the two of them were at my feet and Jody started cleaning Russell's head, not to mention getting a couple bites in on Russells neck. I think we found the purrrfect cat for Cindy and I.

Back to the grind

Things have finally started to calm down after the wedding and honeymoon. Cindy and I are back to our normal lives together. Although we never lived together we have slipped right into a good routine.

This week we have Cindy’s cat Cheese staying with us. Things started a little rocky, but he and Jody are starting to get along a little better. Here is the video of Cheese and Jody meeting, not quite the same meeting as Jody and Apollo, but they are doing better.






Cheese will not be staying but it was good to have over for the week, is a cuddle bug but without actually getting on you. Strange.

The Honeymoon

So, Cindy and I have been having a fantastic time. We landed in Honolulu on Monday at about 11:30. When we got to the hotel they had two of these sitting outside,

For shits and giggles we decided to ask how much it was to rent one, it was very cheap because they were having a special deal going on, it was too good for Cindy and I to pass up, so check out the video of us driving,

So Cindy and I are now in the condo in Kauai so we will leave you with the wonderful view from our patio.

When Jody Met Apollo

Today was a momentous day for us (there seems to be a lot of those happening). Jody took a trip with Cindy and me to Jen and Manny's house. Jody has already met Tulip and Peanut with explosive results (Tulip is wary of him and Peanut is downright scared.) However, today Jody met his cousin Apollo and Serena. I think Serena needs to get used to the Idea of a little guy in the house. Yet Jody and Apollo reacted completely different. Just watch the video clip.

As you can see, they got along great. In fact, as the day progressed, Jody and Apollo became inseparable. They had a fantastic time playing all around the house. As Jen said they are like two peas in a pod.

It may be hard to tell but Jody is the one one the bottom. They look almost exactly the same. Although Apollo outweighs his cousin by almost 8 lbs. That is a whole lot of kitty. I think Jody is definitely going to be looking forward to spending time at Aunty Jen and Uncle Manny’s house while Cindy and I are on our honeymoon.

My first try at blogging

Hello everyone, I thought I would start our momentous entrance into the blogosphere with an introduction.

This is me and Cindy,

We are getting married in just a few short days (10 to be exact). We cannot wait to be an old married couple, this process should take about 5 minutes after we are married. Grunting and groaning about our sore joints and complaining about how things used to be.

But I digest, Cindy and I live in Sunnyvale with our cat, Jody,

He is a crazy little guy, but we love him anyway. He would not fit with us unless he was crazy.
